Fast-paced, energetic; a small-stringed storyteller, the fiddle is a popular instrument in many European and North American cultures. Canadian fiddling is especially important, contributing to the country’s cultural identity.  In Quebec, the use of the fiddle is unique. Percussive and rhythmic playing is highly developed with irregular beat patterns. (Podorythmie)

This form of folk music is translated with notes of maple, vanilla, and wood smoke; keeping you warm on those dark, cold nights.
